Become Consulting is delighted to announce the appointment of Lily Chen as Partner.


With more than 25 years of experience spanning both global executive search firms and leading multinational life sciences organizations, Lily brings a unique combination of executive recruitment expertise, strategic human resources leadership, and organizational transformation experience. Her appointment further strengthens Become Consulting’s capabilities in executive search, leadership advisory, and organizational consulting across the life sciences sector.

Prior to joining Become Consulting, Lily held several senior leadership roles at Roche Group. Most recently, she served as Executive Recruiting Partner and APAC Recruiting Lead within Roche’s Integrated Workforce Strategy Chapter, where she co-led regional recruiting initiatives and managed a team of 50 professionals across 17 countries. In this role, she helped drive workforce transformation, implement agile operating models, and support critical talent decisions across the region.


Before assuming her regional leadership responsibilities, Lily served as Head of HR Business Partnering (Commercial & Enabling Functions) and Head of Talent Acquisition for Shanghai Roche Pharmaceuticals. Working closely with senior business leaders, she aligned talent strategies with business priorities, helping support significant business growth while leading the acquisition of key executive talent during one of the industry’s most competitive talent markets. Earlier in her career, she served as Recruiting & Staffing Director for Greater China at Boehringer Ingelheim.


Lily’s corporate leadership experience is complemented by a strong foundation in executive search and leadership consulting. She previously held consulting and executive search leadership roles with Korn Ferry and Amrop, advising multinational organizations on executive talent, leadership assessment, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.


Lily’s rare combination of executive search expertise and in-house business leadership gives her a deep understanding of how organizations build high-performing leadership teams. Her extensive experience advising global executives and leading talent transformation initiatives makes her an exceptional addition to our partnership team as we continue supporting clients across Asia and beyond.

Lily holds an MBA in Finance from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Xi’an Polytechnic University.
